Description
The 黄山(新制皖烟) is crafted from tobacco leaves sourced from the golden region of southern Anhui, employing a distinctive process characterized by "low temperature, mildness, and flexibility" to restore the essence of the tobacco. This results in a "sweet and fragrant" profile, with each puff offering a rich, sweet, and smooth character. The tobacco strands of 黄山(新制皖烟) exhibit a bright yellow hue, producing a refined and gentle smoke. The aroma is abundant and lingers pleasantly, adhering to the traditional characteristics of an elegant fragrance, a hint of roasted sweetness, a comfortable aftertaste, and a sweet aromatic resonance.

Sign in with GoogleHuang Shan is named after the mountain range by the same name in Anhi province, China. It translates to yellow mountain which fits with the iridescent gold pack design. The brand was founded in 1958 by the Anhui Cigarette Industrial Co., Ltd. Cigarette Factory. I couldn’t find anything about this specific pack online though. These are definitely on the budget side of Chinese cigarettes, lacking the more herbal flowery taste I’ve come to know. They burn longer than most Chinese cigarettes I’ve tried and are overall high quality still. They are full flavor with 10mg of tar and have a light color blend of tobacco. Very happy with these, more reminiscent of American tobacco than not. The filter is pretty cool with a camouflage pattern design and red brand labeling, complimented with a small gold band. They burn very evenly indicating a tighter pack of the tobacco. Pretty standard cigarette all things considered, but I like these more than a lot of the Chinese cigarettes I’ve tried.
