黄鹤楼（硬平安）

The Huanghelou 1916 blend originated from Bolivian merchants bringing what was called the “Nanyang” Tobacco formula to China in 1916, where it was then adopted by the Huangelou brand and made into the flagship blend known today. The tobacco undergoes a natural alcoholization for more than 5 years in the native environment of Suizhou and Enshi, Hubei and an incredibly selective process over which leaves are used and harvested. The fragrant burst bead, when popped, adds a herbal citrus tea-like taste to the cigarette. They have an elegant light taste with a hint of that fragrant woody Chinese cigarette characteristic, but nothing overpoweringly unique. They burn fast and they don’t have much tobacco in them, which never satiates the cravings. The air flow is not too tight despite the slim design and long unperforated filter. They have a sophisticated palette, with the initial draw being more sour then leaving you with a sweet herbal taste at the back of the throat.
