“延安”（醇香） is a flue-cured tobacco product developed by the Yan'an Cigarette Factory in 1995. It employs a biological enzyme agent to harmonize the chemical components of the tobacco leaves, resulting in a rich and vibrant tobacco blend with an elegant aroma, moderate strength, and a clean, comfortable aftertaste with minimal irritation. Additionally, the filter tip incorporates a high-performance polymer adsorbent—chitosan. This non-toxic agent possesses excellent antibacterial properties and, due to its positive charge, selectively adsorbs free radicals from the smoke. Tests conducted by the Free Radical Laboratory of the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, have shown a reduction in the relative concentration of free radicals in cigarettes containing chitosan, preserving the tobacco flavor while enhancing the smoking experience and reducing the hazards of smoking, thus safeguarding consumer interests. The cigarettes are wrapped in horizontal ribbed paper, complemented by a 28mm tipping paper.
