To further enhance the overall competitive strength of Fujian's cigarette brands, Fujian Zhongyan Industrial Company has incorporated the Red Lion into the Seven Wolves family, renaming it Seven Wolves (Red Lion), and began the transition within the province in June 2006. Since its launch in 1997, Red Lion has been well-received by consumers for its rich and mellow flavor, establishing a solid market foundation.
