Since 1845, the Robaina family has been cultivating tobacco on the precious lands of Cuchillas de Barbacoa in the San Luis district of the Vuelta Abajo tobacco-growing region. Robaina cigars were launched in 1997, a gift to the Cuban farmers who grow cigars, as Don Alejandro Robaina led them in cultivating the finest wrapper leaves, becoming a legend of that era. In fact, the brand honors all the unknown tobacco growers, whose knowledge and skills have forged the brilliance of today's Havana cigars.
